Whitmore Charter High School
Whitmore Charter High School is designed for families who are seeking innovative education for their families. Families are offered the opportunity to design their child’s education through a combination of online, on-site and home school learning. All families are assigned a credentialed Advisory teacher to help guide them through curriculum, instruction, assessment, and the overall High School experience.
On-line and on site classes are taught by WCHS credentialed teachers. On site classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 8:00 through 4:00 p.m. Classes are A-G certified. A variety of home school, online, and on site elective opportunities include classes in Art, Sign Language, Spanish, Drama, Music, Dance, Leadership, Yearbook, and many others. Opportunities, such as participating in Interact or National Honor Society, help to provide social interactions and academic experiences. WCHS’s Wolf Den provides a structured, supervised setting for students to interact socially and get schoolwork done. A Parent Resource Center is useful for families in sharing ideas, gathering resources, and providing a place to work. This unique school provides a rich opportunity for parents and students who are who desire more choice in their academic pursuits.
